LIDO-LANG Technical Translations was founded by Jerzy and Barbara Nedoma on 1 October 1991. Today, LIDO-LANG employs over 50 staff members and provides a broad range of translation services for major European and US corporations. LIDO-LANG's team gathered this week to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the company.

LIDO-LANG was established as a small, family-run business. The founder and present Chairman Jerzy Nedoma started off in October 1991 by providing technical and specialised translations to government agencies and private companies. Andrzej Nedoma soon joined the company, and LIDO-LANG was transformed into a civil-law partnership.

From the outset, the founders of LIDO-LANG relied on four core corporate values: high quality, innovation, experience and professional service. It was not long before the advantage of the company founder's experience, coupled with innovation and bold decisions, started to pay off. Mobility, an innovative approach to project processing and focus on high-quality customer service are instrumental in LIDO-LANG's current ranking among largest translation providers in Poland and among the fastest-developing translation agencies in Europe.

The company looks to expand its services and provide a fully comprehensive customer support. Next to specialised and technical translations, LIDO-LANG offers support services via its technical department, process optimisation, customer interaction platform or project management outsourcing for corporate customers. The company also invests in new technology tools by implementing and developing its proprietary systems.

The twentieth anniversary event was held at one of Krakow's elegant restaurants on 4 October. The event was attended by staff from all corporate departments. The president of the company's management board made an introductory speech, touching upon achievements of the company and its development plans, and thanked all staff for their contribution to LIDO-LANG's current position. A professional photo session with all staff members was also part of the anniversary celebration.
