Lido-Lang is a company for which the link between tradition and future is crucial. We also stress the impact that our decisions today will have tomorrow. As a result of our care for the future, Lido-Lang set up the Professor Józef Nedoma Scholarship Fund. Its aim is to support the gifted and talented students of the Nowodworski High School in Krakow.

As a translation company, Lido-Lang is very much aware of the importance of intercultural dialogue and understanding when in comes to the future for all of us. Therefore we have decided to support the SLOT Fest ‘About the East' organised by the Foundation of Local Creative Centres.

‘About the East' festival is one of the biggest artistic-cultural initiatives in Poland concerning the eastern cultures. The festival program includes slide shows, meetings with travellers, film shows and various lectures. For those of you who enjoy interactive activities, the organisers have prepared a series of workshops (including Persian language and belly dance lessons). The aim of the festival is to acquaint the Polish audience with the culture of the Orient.

The Festival will take place between 23-24th October in the Krakow YMCA (8 Krowoderska St.) as well as other partner locations. For more information go to: www.slot.art.pl
